Broken by the heat

We are in the middle of those 1 in a century heatwave at the moment. 5 days in a row of ~40deg celcius temp, I am melting people! For those of you who follows the Australian Open tennis (held at my home town) would know what I'm talking about.

Last night we succumbed to the heat and got takeaway food, it was just so hot to do any cooking. So our no takeout run has come to an end. I decided today to cook dinner early this morning when it was a bit cooler, so we will atleast have food tonight.

    I had to look this up...but thats 104 degrees fahrenheit!!! THAT IS HOT!!! Wow...we are running about 50 F here....which is about 10 celcius...

    I would be getting dinner out too..totally understand beating the heat!!!

    It was 26 degrees F when we woke up this morning. I would take the cold over the heat any day!!! Hang in there!
