2009 $20K challenge or should I say $19K challenge

But this is not finalise yet. Right now this is what our challenge for next year look like. Deep down I really think it is doable, I think it is realistic enough.

*Amount increasing next year.

I will finalise this at the start of next month. DH right now is actually in the middle of finding out whether we can lower some of our fix expenses (mainly insurances). He is currently doing the research and ringing up. Every cent counts right?

So is your challenge excluding your house payment? I don't see it.

Yeah that's right. We are paying about $1,000 p/m on mortagage interest at the moment.

You've done so well this year. . . I'm confident you'll be able to achieve this goal next year. And yes, every cent counts.

I'm in awe! You have so many items increasing yet you are reducing your challenge by $1000. I see your allowances are going down significantly, too. I'm sure you'll meet the goal!

I agree with petunia, I am pretty sure you will meet your goal

Rates is probably what you would call property rates or property tax.

I just find it interesting that so many of your categories are very similar to mine. I sure would like to do something like this for next year.
