2008 GOALS

Note: This is not a Debt but it's a Challenge to only spend $20K this year on items that are necessities. SPENT 62.8% so far.

OTHER GOALS:

1.Save $6,000 in Long-term Saving
TTD = (100%+)
Starting another goal: To save another $10K from Apr to Dec.
TTD = $2517.00 (25%)

2.Have $2,000 in Car Fund by the end of the year.
TTD = Done (100%)

3.Fully fund EF, another $1.3K to go.
TTD = Done (100%)

4.Have $850 in the Xmas Fund.
TTD = Done (100%)

5.Put $7,000 into Investment.
TTD = $5,400 (77%)

Yesterday's NSD did not eventuate due to DH getting fuel for the car. He decided to fill up yesterday because a lot of the service station already started putting the prices up so he took advantage of getting it before it goes up again.

At least it was a gallant effort for the NSD to try to appear. I had two (last Fri and Sat) and had to make a real effort to avoid it - like borrowing several DVDs from the library to avoid a trip to the video store. I am finding that it is all those little things that add up to a lot of nothingness that zaps resources from the budget. And he was saving money by checking out the prices and doing it before an increase. Pat him on the back for that!

I meant to get gas yesterday when it was $3.86. This morning it is $3.88. I will get it today because, no doubt tomorrow it will $3.90.
